TL;DR
- Install from the Shopify App Store. Your Visibly AI account is created from your store automatically.
- Billing goes through Shopify: approve paid plans in your Shopify admin, or stay on the Free plan.
- Choose which products to track, then apply suggested fixes to Shopify with one click.
- Uninstalling cancels your plan immediately and deletes your Visibly AI data about 48 hours later.
The Visibly AI Shopify app shows how often ChatGPT and Gemini recommend your store and your products, and lets you apply fixes to your product pages without leaving Shopify. It runs inside your Shopify admin.
Install the app
- Open Visibly AI on the Shopify App Store and click Install.
- Review the permissions and approve the install.
- Shopify opens Visibly AI in your admin. Find it later under Apps in the Shopify sidebar.
What the app uses its main permissions for:

Set up your brand
There's no separate sign-up: your Visibly AI account and brand are created from your store, and your storefront's domain is the website we analyse. Setup then takes about a minute:
- Confirm your brand details. We pre-fill your store name, industry and description from your storefront. Edit anything that's off, add brand aliases, and click Confirm and continue.
- Add your competitors. Search for the brands you compete with, or skip and add them later.
- Brand prompts. Review the shopper questions we generate for your category. Edit, regenerate, remove or add your own.
- Choose your plan. See below.
Already using Visibly AI on the web for the same website? On the first screen, choose Use your existing Visibly workspace to bring it into Shopify instead of starting again.
If your store is password-protected, you'll see We can't reach your store. Remove the password and click Check again, or give us the store password so we can analyse it. AI assistants can't see a password-protected store, so your visibility will stay low until the store is public.

Plans and billing
- Paid plans are billed through Shopify and appear on your Shopify invoice. After you choose a plan, you confirm the charge in your Shopify admin. Each store gets one free trial.
- Free plan. Choose Start free or Continue with Free. No charge and no card needed.
- Change plan in Settings → Billing → Change plan. Upgrades apply straight away. Downgrades apply at the end of your billing period.
- Cancel in Settings → Billing → Cancel subscription. You keep your plan until the end of the trial or billing period, then move to the Free plan.

Track your products
Products aren't imported automatically, so you choose what to track. The Products page lists your bestsellers from the last 30 days, followed by your newest active products. You can also search by name or SKU. Click Track on a product to start its audit. Products with inventory tracking turned off show as in stock.
Each audit shows how visible the product is in AI answers and suggests fixes. Click Fix with AI to generate an improved SEO title and description, image alt text or product description, then Apply to Shopify to save it to your product. Prefer to edit it yourself? Click Edit in Shopify.
Add structured data to product pages
Structured data helps AI assistants read your product pages accurately. After you publish structured data for a product from its audit, turn on the app embed to show it on your storefront:
- In Shopify, go to Online Store → Themes and click Customize.
- Open App embeds in the theme editor sidebar.
- Turn on Visibly structured data and click Save.
The embed only adds data to product pages you've published structured data for. It never adds prices or offers, and it's removed if you uninstall the app.
Using Visibly AI inside Shopify
The app works like the web dashboard, with a few differences:
- Navigation is in the Shopify admin sidebar under Visibly AI.
- Your website is managed by your Shopify store and can't be changed in Settings.
- You sign in through Shopify, so there's no separate Visibly AI password. Open the app from your Shopify admin to use it.
- Google Analytics opens in a new window when you connect it.
Uninstall the app
When you uninstall Visibly AI:
- Your Shopify-billed or Free plan is cancelled immediately.
- About 48 hours later, all your Visibly AI data is permanently deleted, as Shopify requires. This includes your brand, prompts, results and any web workspace you linked during setup.
- If that linked web workspace was paid by card, its subscription is cancelled at the same time, before the data is deleted.
